GPSDO Frequency Reference

I needed a precise frequency reference in my lab. I’ve played around with Rubidium standards before, but I wanted to try GPSDO (GPS disciplined oscillator) this time. I installed a GPS antenna on the roof and ran coaxial to the lab. Then I acquired a surplus Trimble Thunderbolt GPSDO, the kind used in cell phone towers. By hooking it up to my laptop and running Lady Heather software, I can get all sorts of data back from GPS satellites, like atomic clock synced time. I’m also outputting a clean 10Mhz signal.
